Our Work
:: Leciester Belgrave Mela
The Leicester Belgrave Mela, which first began in 1983, took place on the 12th and 13th of July at Abbey Park attracting visitors in excess of 100,000. The spirit of the event is about the celebration of the rich Asian culture and traditions, with live music and performances by Paul Chowdry, Dhamal Comedy, Bhanubhai Pandya & Tushar Trivedi, Robin Winterton, Chappati Man', Nu Beat, Rajestani Folk Dance & Indian Classical, Sabras Radio feat, Melody Maker, WeAvE and many more. There were many fun activities including Bollywood Karaoke, Children's show - The Pink Centipede, a circus, Health Zone, the Art-zones included the Bollywood Masala Masti, Fashion and Dance, Mela Bollywood Carnival and the Access Zone. The Mela was a spectacular event providing entertainment for all the family.
